Streamlining your work routine
The solution has a base spreadsheet that feeds the picklist and the dashboard of the task management solution. In other words, the "Project Management" solution and the "Task Management" solution can be connected through the "Portfolio Summary" spreadsheet in the "Project Management" solution, which has thenames names of all projects and the status of each one. The names of active projects would populate the project selection list on the Task Management Task Management Kanban cards.

How the System Works
The process begins by filling out an initiative submission form. The form can be found in the "Initiative Entry Spreadsheet." After completion, a request for enrichment of the initiative is sent, in which the following information will be filled in:
- Template, Project Type (folder or workspace), and PM
Once this information has been filled in, a request for approval is sent. Once the project has been approved, it is created through the TaskIT Solution Center.
The configured project management templates are located in the "Templates" folder in the "TaskIT – Projects" workspace. Every time a new template is created, the template name is entered in the "Template" column of the "Initiative Entry Spreadsheet."
All information on project initiatives and projects created is uploaded to the "Portfolio Monitoring Dashboard." And all information on projects created can be found in the "Portfolio Summary.”
The creation of the workspace or project folder is automatically done by the TaskIT solution center, a TaskIT product that allows the replication of Smartsheet structures with variable information according to parameters provided by the user.
The system's automatic picklists save maintenance time and ensure efficient metric retrieval because they prevent inconsistencies between the information entered in task Kanbans and the information in project databases.
